Mangaluru/Udupi, Oct 31: No Covid cases were reported from Dakshina Kannada and Udupi on Monday, October 31.

The total number of positive cases in the Dakshina Kannada district has risen to 1,37,156, out of which 10 are currently active. As many as one patient was discharged on October 31.

No deaths were reported on October 31. The death toll in the district so far stands at 1,861.

The district administration has urged people to strictly continue maintaining social distance in public places and wear masks when stepping out of the house. Anyone not wearing a mask would be fined by the authorities.

So far, the district administration has collected Rs 1,16,05,880 as fine in 96,212 incidents of mask violation.

Udupi

No coronavirus cases were reported from Udupi on October 31. The total active Covid cases are 4.

A total of 10,90,818 people have received the first dose of vaccination and 10,85,992 have received both doses and 2,97,393 people have received booster doses.
