Puttur, Nov 1: City police arrested accused in a murder attempt case, who was absconding for last three years.
A case was filed in the city police station here in 2019 in connection with a fight that occurred in the city. An attempt to murder case was registered against Irshad, resident of Polya in Kabaka. However, Irshad went abroad and did not attend the hearing in the court.
The court issued a warrant on Irshad and he was arrested from Bajpe airport on October 28 as he arrived from overseas. The accused was produced in court and the court sent him to judicial custody.
