Karnataka schools to include lesson on Puneeth Rajkumar

Bengaluru, Nov 1 (IANS): Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Tuesday said that a lesson on late actor Puneeth Rajkumar will be included in the school syllabus.

Various sections are demanding for inclusion of the lesson on achievements of Puneeth Rajkumar, Bommai said.

"Whatever is possible we will do. Bestowing the late actor with the Karnataka Ratna award (posthumously) is the highlight of this Kannada Rajyotsava. Puneeth Rajkumar had done yeomen job in terms of humanitarian work," the Chief Minister said.

"He (Puneeth Rajkumar) had donated his organs, this speaks volumes about his service. After his demise, many more have come forward to donate their eyes," he explained.

"In his short span of life, Puneeth Rajkumar had done inspirational work and service. Whatever is possible, we will do to carry forward his message," the Chief Minister said.

Crazy! He is just an actor. I don't understand why people blindly believe in reel stars. Just because he has done some philanthropic activities there is no need to worship him so much. So many people do generous acts without any fanfare. Glad Coastal Karnataka people have some sense and dont blindly worship cinema actors.

If parents can send their kids to a school which is not touched by dirty politics, then, please go to that school even if you have to go to another state. It will be expensive, and parents may have to make huge sacrifice. Education is your foundation. Let the foundation is not made up of Bjp dung, your life will be destroyed and that is exactly what Bjpee wants.

Directionless Government, will stoop to any level to get votes. There have been many personalities who have impacted our Nation and Society, their lives and deeds can make a positive impact on the young children. If these BJP continue their misrule, our next generation will never be able to survive in this world. In what way will Puneeth Raj Kumar’s life add value to their education ?. Please think and vote carefully, please

It's simple. He also don't want to include this topic in the textbook. But the politics is if opposition party oppose his decision, they will lose voters. That's it.

"History, in general, only informs us of what bad government is." Most of the people are aware that BJP members are Cattle class specimen with cattle sentiments, Cow dung & Urine therapists/users human butchers. And now inducing/including lesson on a film star. In what way he served the country as a part of freedom fighters, Indias Independence, Social service or a great warier. Bommai has proved that he is no better than Bomma for sure. (Gonkur Kappe)

A mindless, utter foolish CM. An actor should be treated as actor, not as God. Include Late Siddaganga Shivakumar Swamiji in school book, we are happy to learn.
