Hourly service to Mangalore city 24X7, city bus is need of the day. This is for the people working at airport and also for passengers with minimum luggage. Ticket price should be in the range of 40 Rupees. Further an autorickshaw stand at airport is a must. Do not worry new autos climb the hill effortlessly. Even TVS-50 or Bajaj M-80 too can climb this airport hill. Last time the reson given for stopping bus service was Volvo's can not climb the airport hill. Funny enough they climb Agumbe and Charmadi.

Well Done job whoever has implemented and accomplished it. Great relief to all the travelers. Airport should also open good restaurants for visitors so that public can go to airport for weekends and spend time with family at the vicinity of the Airport. Many of the South East Asian Countries has this concept. Jai Hind.

Help the needy not the rich. Travelling from Mangalore city to Airport is not expensive, compare to the amount they pay for the flight tickets, people who can afford flight tickets, can afford taxis from city to Mangalore. Buses are needed for students and elders who lives below poverty .

The cab driver lobby is so strong, photo-op and article speaks volumes...Railway station to Airport? Are you kidding me? Why can't you run frequent services from common destinations in the city connecting with Airport by using the air schedule which is also in the open? Not everyone who takes domestic flights carry 20+7Kgs with them that cab drivers have to fleece air passengers day in and day out. Pluck some courage you politicians..!

Why do we need ministers and MLAs just flag off a special bus service? It’s absolutely ridiculous. Something like bus service, bus stop, footpath etc., are the necessities and it’s government’s job with tax payers’ money. Why do we need such formal celebrations involving senior leaders? They have much more priority jobs to attend to which they are not doing. People wake up and stop clapping like clowns.

Appreciate. This will help many people to commute. Many a times, even if you are alone with a luggage and handbag, you were compelled to engage a taxi. Let us use our media to encourage, give potential tips and informations rather than complaining, teasing, abusing and condemning. Let's have positive attitude. To bring in changes at our home also, it takes lot of time and efforts. I humbly request/appeal people, to please suggest/furnish necessary informations to bring in changes/ improve the services. 'Together we can, and we shall' bring in changes and improvements for the betterment of society and next generation.

Its note Fare the distance between Mangalore railway station to Airport 14 to 15 KMS whereas Manipal to Mangalore Airport distance is 59 KMS ( @ 2.54 per kms) then why for Mangalorean's charge Rs. 100/ ( Rs 7per KMS)

Fare from airport to the city is exorbitant, beyond the reach of local commuters especially the working class. KSRTC should have halved the fare and charged extra for those carrying luggage. I don’t think it will workout by serving only air passengers.
