Bengaluru man says wife beats him, complains to PM's office

Bengaluru, Nov 2 (IANS): A Karnataka man has complained to the office of the Prime Minister (PMO) seeking help and protection from his wife, who 'regularly beats him'. The man has also alleged that he was facing threat to life from his wife.

Yadunandan Acharya from Bengaluru sent his grievances to the PMO through social media. He also tagged his tweet to the handles of Bengaluru City Police Commissioner Pratap Reddy and Union Minister for Law and Justice Kiren Rijiju.

"Would anyone help me? Or did anyone help me when this happened? No, Because I am a man!

My wife attacked me with knife, Is this the naari shakti you boost about? Can I put a domestic violence case against her for this? No!

He also stated that he was bleeding from his hand after the stab injury caused by his wife.

Reacting to his tweet, Bengaluru Police Commissioner Pratap Reddy asked him to visit the police station and seek legal action and address his grievance.

Yadunandan Acharya has got support from across the sections and highlighted the need to address the issue of harassed husbands.

It is not a direct complaint. In essence his complaint relates to the consequences of PM's mahila shashaktikaran or women's empowerment. The abolition of triple talaq is also a part of this program.

All fake declarations. A man gets hammered by the wife means he is unfit to be called husband: - - He May be without many hood - Wife is having solid backing from her paramour/family - He is having extra marital affair - Make sure wife is not taking steroids to boost her energy (femineity to masculine) - Also, ensure any gender transformation - Finally, he has approached a wrong person's office for advice, as he himself is a married single with any knowledge of woman power. I would have given you some tips but for that I have to be there in person.

There has been no discovery of safe ways or best sellers on matters of ", Tackling Wives and Getting the Best out of them ". You have to be innovative. And washing your dirty linen in public just wont help. What do you know of the Police Commissioner's wife?? No point in tagging others also once you are tagged to one. Got my point??

Get your wife treated by a good mental doctor. PM is not there to set right families of educated people but for the welfare and safety of our nation. You ( Yadunandan) are only responsible for your family affairs.....
