Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (MS)

Mangaluru, Nov 3: Assistant commissioner (AC) and sub divisional officer Madanmohan C has ordered confiscation of 15 cents land at Adyapadi of Addoor which is in the name of Yakoob, owner of illegal cow slaughter spot in the case related to illegal slaughter of cows. Case in this regard was filed at Kankanady police station.

In addition, AC Madanmohan also ordered the sub inspector of Kankanady police station, complainant in the case, to get the vehicles confiscated during the raid valued by competent authority and submit the estimated value to the court.

Madanmohan has asked to submit the final report of the criminal case that is filed in third CJM court and also copy of the order to the AC court.

The land confiscation will be recorded on column 11 of RTC of the said land in the records maintained by Mangaluru taluk tahsildar and also in panchayat records.

According to the details of the case, seven accused were arrested on August 29 under illegal cow transportation in the limits of Kankanady police station. During inquiry, the police unearthed that illegal cow slaughtering was going on in the land of Yakoob at Adyapadi. Accordingly, they arrested Yakoob. The AC had ordered confiscation of property of Hakim of Katipalla, Batish of Arkula and Yusuf of Ganjimath for running an illegal cow slaughterhouse.

MLA Vedavyas Kamath said that a clear message is sent to illegal cow slaughterers in the state by confiscating the property.

In a statement Kamath said, “In spite of implementation of cow slaughter prohibition law in the state, illegal cow slaughtering and transportation is still continuing. That is why legal action is initiated. As warned earlier, the process of confiscation of property of illegal cow slaughterers has taken place and order is given by AC.

“Cow is a part of our belief. In future also those who will not abide by the law and continue illegal cow slaughtering will be punished. Cow killers will not be spared in the city,” he said.

@ rao, mangalore This is my clarification to your wisdom (Nil) argument. First be aware that I am a man and not a swet lady as you thought. Of course, many people call me Handsome (lady killer). Here the subject is about Cow rearing by Muslims. Why you have dragged Pigs on your way. For your information during my college days my college mates (Rao & Bhat) used come to my house to enjoy the delicacy of Port Bafath & Beef Chops. I observed them licking the fingers.😉 Welcome any time if you wish (let it be a secret)

People burn the effigy of Ravana during the festival; whereas Ravana is worshipped by a lot of people in different parts of India. So, should the burning be banned on the basis of hurting the sentiments of some communities. If not, why?. Or should they be sent to Pakistan?

If you are so strong in faith and If you believe cows as maatha; then you should stop going to foreign countries for earning money, where cows are slaughtered on daily basis. Otherwise, it is crystal clear that your faith is so weak or you are just hypocrites or it is just vote politics

Get your facts right! For the records, AAP is NOT a B team of any political party. We are striving to have a separate identity and have been successful . The growing support base is a mirror to this fact. We sincerely hope that such elements you mention do not join this venture and pollute it. If they do , then it goes the way you mentioned! Thats what we dread to think off. We cannot be saints by, blaming RSS, BJP etc and then indulge in abusing minor and smuggling in privates!

Muslims should be given licence to start with cattle farming for slaughter purpose and consumption for those who consume Beef. This will surely reduce Cows robbing. Such cows may not fall under any religious sentiments, at par with foreign cows are treated. Any Clarification.

Yes, I have some clarification, madam. Let Muslims be given swine farming so that they can make good business with both Christians and pork-eating Hindus. Let Muslims do farming, consumption of pork depends on individual Muslims. I think you will agree with my opinion. If you have clarification just mention

@Rao, The morbi bridge collapse killed about 150 people in Gujarat. Any specific community involved in that incident? Or was it the result of corruption? Is corruption synonymous with any specific religion? But I know a group of about 7-8 boys of a particular community saved a lot of people from the death bed. They did not see the community of the dying people. There were so many other people who were simply watching the incident. Do you think that the state government will felicitate those boys?. Not for sure. Because, it will go against the interest of political parties.

@Rao, Recently a politician from Tamilnadu has threatened that Tamilnadu will seperate from India unless their state's demands are met, Check which community he belonged to. Why you bhakths dilute the crime itself when the criminals are from one community?; Whereas you try your best to give religious colour to crimes of one specific community? Don't these bhakths feel shy to destroy the secular fabric of this country?

Beef ban can never work and it can only be misused to show atrocities and swindle bribes... It is similar to attempt stopping alcohol... In Gujarat drinks are freely available clandestinely... Also here beef meat is sold to whoever wants it... Humanity will fail every time man tries to glorify animals... Love them, treat them well but don't worship them...
