Mangaluru, Nov 4: Principal of St Aloysius Pre-University College Fr Clifford Sequeira inaugurated the three-day long fourth edition of SAPMUN 2022 on Friday November 4 at Loyola Hall.

Speaking on the occasion, Fr Clifford Sequeira said, “the model united nation is an forum for debate and discussions that will improve thinking and organisational skills. Students need to listen rather than react and there is no need to respond hurriedly in mock United Nations.”

He also said, “students will take part as delegates of other countries and discuss several issues on relevant topics. You can be a proficient public speaker and it is a good way to move out from your comfort zone and discuss about issues in the world. Students can be termed as engines of change. What you think of today will define the changes in the future. As an individual you can impact millions of people and have a hope to make a big difference. I urge students that for the next three days to listen to what other persons speak and understand their point of view.”
