Bantwal: Thieves break cash box of offerings in temple, decamp with money

Bantwal, Nov 9: Thieves broke open the cash box of offerings in Kelinja Ullalthi Amma temple at Veerakamba grama late night on November 8 and decamped with the cash stolen from it.

The cash box was kept beside the highway. Several vehicle drivers passing by used to drop their offerings in it every day.

Miscreants broke open the box in the night on November 8 and stole the money from it. Local people who saw the broken cash box informed Vittal police.
