Mangaluru: Cross exhibition held at St Joseph the Worker Church, Neermarga

Mangaluru, Nov 24: On November 20, the final Sunday of the Liturgical Year and the feast of Christ the King, by the invitation of Fr Anil D'Mello, parish priest, Fr Ashwin Lawrence Crasta came to St Joseph the Worker Church, Neermarga to display his unique collection of 1000 crosses.

In the presentation, there were crosses:Crosslet Cross, Budded Cross, Sphere Cross, Arrow Cross, Diamond Cross, Pommee Cross, Carolingian Cross, The Tau Cross, Chi-Rho Cross, Pattee Cross Pope Francis Papal Pectoral Cross, Engrailed Cross, etc. Every Cross had the documentation of its Meaning, Origin, History and Significance.

By viewing this collection, the visitors learned about the places and the annals of the Crosses and felt illuminated in their minds and the  hearts.
