The total number of positive cases in Dakshina Kannada district has risen to 1,37,183, out of which 4 are currently active. No patients were discharged on November 25.

No deaths were reported on November 25. The death toll in the district so far stands at 1,861.

The district administration has urged people to strictly continue maintaining social distance in public places and wear masks when stepping out of the house. Anyone not wearing a mask would be fined by the authorities.

So far, the district administration has collected Rs 1,16,05,880 as fine in 96,212 incidents of mask violation.
