Puttur: Missing 19-year-old girl traced, handed over to family

Puttur, Nov 26: Uppinangady police traced young girl Sahida (19), resident of Barya village, who was missing from the midnight of Sunday and handed her over to her parents.

Woman ASI Kavita of Uppinangady police station found Sahida in the house of Shakeena at Mudipu in Mangaluru. Sahida was sent with her father Abdul Khadri.

Meanwhile, a gang, said to be relatives of the missing girl, tried to assault Mudassir, who is accused of taking Sahida along with him on Sunday. Timely intervention of the cops prevented any further escalation of the matter.
