Mangaluru: Rachana Catholic Chamber of Commerce and Industry honours entrepreneurs at Inspire

Mangaluru, Nov 27: The Rachana Catholic Chamber of Commerce and Industry had organised a programme, Inspire (Come , meet the inspiring stars) here on Saturday, November 26.

Successful entrepreneurs Roshan Antony D'Souza, Oshin Perira, Jake Elton Pinto, Jeethan Castelino, Shirly Cutinha, Aston Jerome Martis, Royston Pinto, Anup Noronha, Christopher Machado and Prasanna D'Souza shared their journey of entrepreneurship like how they strived to get success in their business and how they excelled in it.

The Rachana Catholic Chamber of Commerce and Industry honoured them on the occasion.

Leslie Rego was the moderator for the event.

Isaac Vas was the guest of honour. Speaking on the occasion he said, "In entrepreneurship, either you will win or learn a lesson. The Christian community is a very small community but it has given employment opportunities for thousands of people."

He also called upon the community youth to excel academically and as entrepreneurs. "Youths should have a vision. When our youth become good leaders, they can take the community forward," he added.

He also explained how this small community had started several medical and engineering colleges in the district. It is also the responsibility of the second generation to take their family business forward, he said.

Vas also advised that that money will come only with effort and dedication for the task taken up.

He wished successful careers for the youths.

President Vincent Cutinha welcomed. Secretary Lavina Monterio compered. Treasurer Eulalia D'Souza thanked. Vice president Rudolph Rodrigues and joint secretary Philip Pereira and others were present.
