Chennai, May 18 (IANS) Tamil movie superstar Rajnikanth, who was admitted to the Sri Ramachandra Hospital here for recurrent respiratory infection and gastro-intestinal problems, is stable and he is spending time with his family members, hospital officials said Tuesday.
According to a statement issued by the hospital, Rajnikanth has undergone relevant investigations and is receiving appropriate and comprehensive treatment by a team of doctors. His vital parameters are stable. He spends his time with the family members.
The 60 year old superstar was admitted May 13 for detailed investigations into his respiratory and gastro-intestinal problems - the third time in just over three weeks he has been admitted to a hospital.
He was admitted to the St. Isabel Hospital here April 29 after a bout of vomiting and was discharged in the evening.
On May 5, he was again admitted to the ICU of St.Isabel Hospital for treatment of allergic bronchitis and fever.
