K R Pete (Mandya), Nov 29: Congress opposition leader and former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah disclosed on Tuesday that some people had come forward to make a biopic on him and he had turned them down.

Speaking to media persons on Tuesday, he said some of his friends and admirers from the Kanakagiri assembly constituency had approached him with the offer to make a biopic on him.

“I turned down the offer as I don’t know acting. I refused to act," he said.

It later transpired that Shivaraj Thangadgi, a former minister, had come forward to make the biopic on the life of Siddaramaiah.

Siddu attacks BJP over alleged rowdy associations

The Congress leader attacked the ruling BJP over its two MPs – Tejasvi Surya and P C Mohan – along with BJP MLA Uday Garudachar sharing the dais with a notorious rowdy-sheeter, Silent Sunil, at the blood donation camp.

“There is a search warrant on Silent Sunil. He is a notorious rowdy-sheeter,’’ he said attacking BJP for defending the party leaders by pointing out that there are rowdy-sheeters in Congress too.

Siddaramaiah asked Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai to name and arrest the rowdy-sheeters instead of making baseless allegations.

"This is a big malady of BJP men and the Chief Minister is seriously afflicted by it," he said lashing out at Bommai and other BJP leaders for targeting Congress rather than responding to correcting the wrongs of his own party.

"Bommai has the nasty habit of blaming and pointing fingers at previous Congress regime for its lapses and mistakes. Let him first set his party house in order," he said attacking BJP for its immoral act of unseating the Congress-JD(S) coalition government illegally.

The Congress leader lashed out at BJP for admitting rowdy-sheeter Fighter Ravi and also for its leaders sharing a public dais with a known rowdy sheeter.

When Congress criticizes the BJP, the ruling party leaders declare that there are people on bail in Congress and who were in jail.

“Where did Union Home Minister Amit Shah go? Did he not spend over 3 years in jail? Did he spend time in his in-law’s place? He was under externment order from Gujarat for over 3 years? Such a person had served as BJP national president and is now the Home Minister of the country," he said pointing out BJP leaders have no right to talk about Youth Congress leader Nalapad as he is merely facing a criminal case which is yet to be proved.
