Dec 1: Dakshina Kannada reports one case, Udupi adds zero infections

Mangaluru/Udupi, Dec 1: Dakshina Kannada reported one case and Udupi added zero coronavirus cases on Thursday, December 1.

The total number of positive cases in the Dakshina Kannada district stands at 1,37,187 out of which three are currently active. One patient was discharged on December 1.

No deaths were reported on December 1. The death toll in the district so far stands at 1,861.

The district administration has urged people to strictly continue maintaining social distance in public places and wear masks when stepping out of the house. Anyone not wearing a mask would be fined by the authorities.

So far, the district administration has collected Rs 1,16,05,880 as fine in 96,212 incidents of mask violation.

Udupi

Zero coronavirus cases were reported on December 1. The total active Covid cases is zero.

A total of 10,90,864 people have received the first dose of vaccination and 10,86,730 have received both doses and 3,00,256 people have received booster doses.

Udupi, Kundapur and Karkala reported zero infections.
