Mangaluru: Snehalaya Charitable Trust along with MCC Bank Ltd holds 'Snehamilana'

Mangaluru, Dec 5: As a part of the World Aids Day Celebration, Snehalaya Charitable Trust in collaboration with the MCC Bank Ltd conducted a programme 'Snehamilana' on December 4.

The programme was conducted in the MCC Bank Auditorium, Hampankatta. The world observes World AIDS Day on December 1 of every year. People get together from all over the world to support those affected by and living with HIV as well as to commemorate those who lost their lives due to AIDS. The theme for World Aids Day 2022 is Equalize.

The students from St Aloysious College under the leadership of Carol and students from HPR Para-Medical college under the leadership of principal Rehana had conducted various cultural programmes and games for the PLHIV. The programme was inaugurated by Rakesh, Alukkas Pvt Ltd Mangaluru and felicitation was given by Br Joseph Crasta, founder of Snehalaya Charitable Trust.

After the cultural events, there was an amazing magic performance by Fr Paul Sebastian D'Souza. The body building show by Joslan Derick D'Souza was well appreciated by the audience. Team Hongirana also have put up a superb show.

In the valedictory programme, prizes were given out to the winners of various games. The presence of Vasanth Shetty, Lions Multiple Council Chairman, Mangaluru, Anil Lobo chairman MCC Bank Ltd, Sunil Menezes, general manager of MCC Bank Ltd, Mangaluru, Br Joseph Crasta, founder, trustees and staff of Snehalaya were present for the programme. Altogether 250 PLHIV joined for the extravaganza. Vasanthi and Renitta PLHIV Shared their experience on the special day.
