Udupi-Bengaluru railway line scenic view lauded by Norway high commissioner

Daijiworld Media Network – Bengaluru (MS)

Bengaluru, Dec 17: The railway line between Udupi and capital city of Bengaluru is one the most beautiful railway routes in the country with lush green forests and mountains. An aerial view of this beauty stuns the viewer.

Eric Solheim, ambassador of Norway in India has shared his feelings on the Bengaluru-Udupi railway track on his Twitter account. He says, “Wonderful India. Is there a train track anywhere that runs in the midst of thick lush green forest? It is there from Sakleshpur to Kukke Subrahmanya on Bengaluru-Udupi railway route.”

A netizen said that everyone should watch the video and the railway route has tunnels, deep gorges and rivers.

Rick has posted the video two days ago and has already got 84,000 views. More than 600 people have shared the video and the same is liked by more than 3,950 people.

Reacting to the post, a netizen wrote, “Nature and beauty are underrated here. People of Western Ghats in India are the most beautiful. People from the states of Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka and Kerala of Western Ghat ranges are most beautiful. They have dominated the cinema field of Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam and Marathi.”

I took this journey recently. The scenery is visible only for around 20 minutes. Rest of the time the view is obscured by thick overgrowth. Not blaming the trees, but it is not how it was a decade ago.

Yes, when you travel by vistadome train, you can enjoy the beauty between Sakleshpur to Subramanya. In my opinion, the scenery one sees travelling in the cable car and rotating cable car to Titlis mountain and rail route to the highest mountain of Europe, Jangfrau is very good, both are in Switzerland. Another best scene I have seen is the scenery standing from the deck in front of hotel Fairmont on the bank of river St. Lawrence in Quebec, Canada. Also, when you travel around the black forest in Germany. They call black forest, but the tree leaves are green like any tree. but the forest is so thick that when one goes to the forest, it is dark inside.

First of all there is no such railway line called udupi- Bemgaluru. It is ether Bengaluru- Mangaluru line under southern railway or apta( panvel) - Mangaluru Konkan railway where udupi comes in between. I am surprised where 2014 or Zumla or andhbhakts comes inbetween ambassadors tweet. Come on appreciate good things and put undet carpet bad things.
