Abu Dhabi: Mangalorean Aarti Prabhu Tops CBSE Science in School

Abu Dhabi, May 26:
Aarti Prabhu, a student of Abu Dhabi Indian School, Abu Dhabi and native of Karkala near Mangalore and Udipi has emerged topper in the girls section in science stream of the School in the CBSE XII board examination.

She has scored an aggregate of 96.4%, with 98 in physics, 95 in chemistry, 98 in mathematics, 96 in computer science and 95 in English.

Aarti is the daughter of Chethana Prabhu and Yogish Prabhu Manager, finance division of National Bank of Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Apart from academics she was the house sports secretary of the school and has represented the school in CBSE national badminton tournament held in Dec 2010 in Cochin, Kerala. She has also represented the school in the Spring Fiesta inter-school western dance competition in Dubai, UAE.

She strongly believes there is no substitute for hard work and admires her parents, teachers, friends and relatives and is thankful for their blessings, love and affection.

    this is absolutely brilliant news, although from what i have heard about you, it was not totally unexpected.

    nevertheless, enjoy the moment and reflect on all everything you have done, all the hard work and long hours and the people/factors that have made it possible for you to achieve this.
