Tehran, Jun 19: Amid rising unrest and chaos in Iran following intensified Israeli military strikes, a powerful voice from the past has re-emerged—Reza Pahlavi, son of the deposed Shah of Iran—calling for an end to the Islamic Republic and urging citizens to unite for a democratic future.

In a dramatic address on Tuesday evening, Pahlavi declared, “The Islamic Republic has come to its end and is collapsing.” With reports suggesting Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has taken refuge in a secret underground bunker, Pahlavi stated that Iran stands at a historic turning point.

“Khamenei, like a frightened rat, has gone into hiding... What has begun is irreversible,” said Pahlavi, who remains widely seen as the exiled Crown Prince. He blamed the regime for decades of war, repression, and economic decay, and affirmed that the time for national uprising had come.

Calling on Iranians from all corners of the country—from Shiraz to Mashhad, Tabriz to Ahvaz—he urged a united revolt to bring an end to the 46-year rule of the Islamic Republic. “Let us all come forward and bring about the end of this regime,” he said.

Pahlavi assured citizens that the post-regime future of Iran would not be one of chaos. “We have a plan,” he affirmed, outlining a vision for a national democratic government led by and for the Iranian people, with preparations in place for the first hundred days after the regime’s fall.

As Iran faces internal and external pressures, voices like Reza Pahlavi’s are gaining renewed attention, symbolising a call for return to democratic values amid the nation’s deepest crisis in decades.
