Udupi: Person of district returning from abroad tests Covid positive

Udupi, Dec 27: One person from the district who had travelled abroad has been tested positive for covid. The traveler is under strict quarantine.

The person travelled through Mangaluru International Airport and was found positive after the test. Swabs have already been sent for testing. The person is healthy and is asymptomatic, said the sources.

Udupi DHO Dr Nagabhushan Udupa has appealed to the public to be vigilant and get tested if any symptoms are found.
