Hassan: Anti-cow slaughter law not implemented effectively – Pejawar Swamiji

Daijiworld Media Network – Hassan (MS)

Hassan, Jan 2: Sri Vishwaprasanna Theertha Swamiji, seer of Pejawar Math expressed regret that the anti-religious conversion and cow slaughter laws are not implemented effectively in the state.

Speaking to media, Swamiji said, “Governments bring laws from time to time according to the demands of public. However, these laws are not implemented effectively and just seem to be eye wash. Attempts should be made to implement them effectively.

“Though anti-religious conversion law is implemented religious conversions are taking place. Similarly, cow slaughter is going on in spite of anti-cow slaughter rule in action. As the violators do not have the fear of being punished, these laws have lost their values. Violators should be punished. So the government should pay special attention towards this matter.

“The emotions of Hindus are hurt due to cow slaughter as cattle are revered by Hindus. In addition, it also has adverse effect on dairy farming. Many families that depend on dairy farming for their livelihood are in dire straits. Due to religious conversions, friction is developed in many houses. There should not be any opportunity for such developments,” he said.

Is our 5000 years old Hinduism is converting to Hindutva following Mutt seers embracing Hindutva????.?…….So our age old Bhagavad Gita teachings are invalid which sustained up and downs of 5000 years and still became world’s most revered, respected and loved religion of all. Hindutva is already cracking within india let alone world wide for its evil foundation it stands on founded on hatred among human beings.

Dear Swamiji. Hinduism is not a religion, it is a way of life. It is a coglomerate of different set of beleifs. There are no rule books like that of Abrahamic faiths. So to force a particular subset of a beleif practised by a certain section of Hindus will bring the downfall of Hindusim. Hindusism includes Atheists and Agnostics also. So swamiji, please confine yourself to your Domain. Do not be that person who brings the Downfall of Hinduism. Hinduism should not be a rigid, dogmatic, and forceful culture. treat the beef eating Hindus also as any other Hindu.

Ganesh D'Mello...If Santana Dharma is a way life..but in which already made prophecy on upcoming religions and it's prophets/messengers with illustration details which certainly absent in all holy books. So we can decide a way of life is just nothing but a brief from God itself to be followed by each mankind. Right.

Need not add demello to my name as i am Hindu. Can you give the reference of that Holy book wherein it is written about the prophecies of other upcoming religion in Sanathana dharma. For your kind information, there are referneces to cow eating in Rig Veda and some other Holy Hindu scriptures. You can disown Rig Veda it is OK. As far as i am concerned, there are millions of Tribals in India who had native beleifs and not GODS & Godesses as mentioned in the epics. So Hinduism is more geographical and a way of life. Hinduism is much better than other religion as it can change with times unlike Book based religion. Scripturs in Hinduism are for guidance value and not rule books. you can change or modify as you deem fit.

Why only cows should be protected.? All other animals and birds too have life and hence they have the right to live. Moreover, matsya, koorma, varaha are the foremost avatars of Lord Vishnu. Garuda is Vishnu's Vehicle. So is Peocock to Subrahmanya and rat to Ganapa bot being birds. So, this Swamy is biased and hypocritic in his advocacy. Let your compassion and sympathy be with all living beings not just with one animal. Of course, we know that such devotion to Cow bri ga votes to Politicians and lots of donations to Swaminis.

Govt on paper says only bufallo meat is exported, but the reality is along with bufallo meat, cow meat is also exported. And most of the export companies belong to Hindus. Forensic Science Laboratory has found cow meat in the export containers, and reported, but govt is keeping mum. Cows are relentlessly slaughtered in Kerala, Goa, W Bengal, J&K, Assam, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Mijoram, Manipur, Magalaya and Sikkim. It looks, not even a single Hindu, in the 109 crore Hindu population in India, swamis and politicians consider those slaughtered cows as God and Mother and are not showing any hurt feeling of their sentiments. They have feeling only for cows in Karnataka !!

Regarding success of Anti-Conversion law - Firstly the Hindus must be taught to practice the Tenets of REAL Hinduism.., by resorting them to indulge in hatred, lynching, beating, killing, intolerance, vengeance, revenge... Hindus loose their peace of mind... get depressed and end up succumb to ditch their own religion practice in search of peace of mind & happiness; Of course I totally agree that this end in lot of disturbance in their family life.., hence the burden rest with the family members to mentor their offspring with good/noble thoughts by teaching them the Tenets of REAL Hinduism..., it is as simple as that..., There is no fear of extinction of Hinduism...,

Swamiji is correct.., first govt must investigate as to : Why the Gau Rakshak's attain filthy economic empowerment within a short period of time.., Secondly Gau palak's @ Gau Shala must be well educated in Maths (to take cattle inventory correctly: Normal error Example : Opg No 50+New addition 25 - Death 5+ Calf/Births 2 and clg balance must be 72; however actual physical count magically become 60) Probably once these two lacuna get fixed 50% of the problem/concern get resolved.., Further, once the Beef Export Ban is implemented the matter will be under total control..,
