Udupi, Jan 7: A diesel tanker ran over the feet of a pedestrian at Malpe fishing port. This incident occurred on Thursday.

Bonna Poojapalli (36), a native of Srikakulam district in Andhra Pradesh (AP) is the person who got injured. As the wheels of the tanker ran over his feet, it fractured his feet.

A case in this connection has been registered in Malpe police station.

    accidents of this nature are just out of question in western and gulf countries as there is clear footpath for pedestrians to walk and roads for vehicles to move...another instance of peril of third world corrupt countries...i know my andh bhakt friends will pounce on me now...but fact is fact...chalega
