Mangaluru: Driver gets stuck in car after accident; rescued, hospitalised by locals

Mangaluru, Jan 10: A car, the driver of which lost the control, crashed onto the electricity pole on the road divider at Kotekaru Beeri on NH 66 on the late night on Monday January 9.

Local youths showed humanity and pulled out the driver from the car. The video of the exemplary act has gone viral on social media.

Naufal, a resident of Haleangady is the injured driver. He was going from Talapady to Haleangady. As he lost control, the car went over the road divider and hit an electricity pole. The driver got stuck in the car as it turned turtle.

The local youths, ran to the rescue, pulled driver Naufal out and admitted him to a hospital.
