Three Solar Eclipses Within One Month...
New Delhi, May 31 (Agencies): It is not rare to experience the solar eclipse and the lunar eclipse occuring almost together. But this year three eclipses are due to occur between 1st June and 1st July.
Out of the three eclipses, there will be two solar and one lunar eclipse. Astronomers and astrologers are very excited about this historic event which is happening after many years. But unfortunately only the lunar eclipse will be visible from India.
But astrologers consider the eclipses as inauspicious. According to astrology eclipses are the indicators of upcoming natural disasters, political upheavals and accidents. It is believed that an eclipse negatively affects the area covered by it.
Following are the details of the three eclipses poised to occur between June 1 and July 1, 2011-
1) Partial solar eclipse (will not be visible from India): It will happen on the night/morning of June 2 from 12:55 AM to 4:37 AM. It will be visible over East Asia, North America, Greenland and the Antarctic sea.
2) Partial lunar eclipse (will be visible from India): It will happen on the night of 15th June from 11:52 PM to 3:33 AM. This eclipse will be also visible over Asia, Africa, Australia, Europe, South America and the Atlantic Ocean.
3) Partial solar eclipse (will not be visible from India): It will occur on the evening of July 1 from 6:15 PM to 9:48 PM. It will be visible over the Indian Ocean and the Antarctic region.
