Udupi, Jan 13: Aiden Christ Danti, a fifth grade student of a private school in Shirva will participate in this year’s Republic Day parade as special guest of union defence minister Rajnath Singh and will receive a prize.
The defence ministry has organized Veergatha – 2.0 programme on November 22. A competition for students on writing stories, poems, composition, drawing art on the inspiration they get by the courageous warriors who protect our country was organized.
Aiden wrote a Hindi poem on the life of courageous soldier and Param Vir Chakra award winner Vikram Bhatra. The results were declared on January 3 and Aiden was selected as one of the 25 best students in the country.
Aiden’s school management and well-wishers have expressed joy on his achievement.
