Dubai, Jun 5: Padmashali UAE, an association founded a year ago, conducted a blood donation campaign at Al Wasl Hospital, on Friday June 3 at around 1.30 as a part of their annual celebration. The campaign was successfully conducted with a large number of people participating voluntarily.
The enthusiastic members of the Community gathered at around 1 pm, prior to the time given by the Health Authorities to welcome the donors. All the donors came well-prepared with pre-signed forms and provided samples of the blood to the authorities to ascertain the purification prior to collection.
The collected blood will serve the needs of those millions in this part of the world during emergencies.
Padmashali UAE joins in line with Karnataka Sangha Sharjah, Mogaveers UAE, Amchigele UAE and other community organizations who conduct these type of humanitarian campaigns every year to serve the UAE society.
Ravi B Shettigar, president of Padmashali UAE, welcomed Mohd Noor Shahada, president of Karnataka Sangha Sharjah, Ganesh Rai, ex-president of Karnataka Sangha Sharjah, general secretary Sugandh Raj Bekal, vice-president of Mogaveer UAE, Bala Salian, Shodhan Prasad of Billawas Dubai and NE and many other well-known community leaders at the blood donation centre in Al Wasl Hospital.
