Bantwal: 42-yr-old woman fails to attend court hearing for last 5 yrs, lands in police net

Bantwal, Feb 9: A 42-year-old woman was arrested by the Vittal police station after she fled to a foreign country without attending a court hearing for the last five years after she was booked in a criminal case.

The accused is identified as Sujatha, a resident of Kalake, Vittil Thambai TV Kunhimangala Panachery, Payyanur, Kerala. Police had issued a LoC against the accused.

The accused had on Wednesday, February 8 at 2.30 am arrived at the International Airport in Kozhikode. The immigration officials who came to know about the accused at the airport detained her and later she was handed over to the local police station.

Vittal police ASI Jayaram and staff Sangeetha took her into custody from the police station in Kerala.

Police had registered case under cases under 379, 311,406, 417, 418, 419, 420, 423, 427,465, 467, 468, 471, 504, 506 r/w 34 of the IPC.

    Now she is not able to fly back to foreign.But our other big birds are still enjoying freedom in UK.When will they be caught ?Here it is not known why Police were searching for?Enjoy a good day in Police custody which you for the five years not enjoyed.
