I attended this meeting and gave in writing, out of box measures to keep Mangalore safe, including keeping tabs on PGs/rentals, solutions to prevent use of vehicles without/fake number plates and vehicles not transferred to new persons name after sale. Also about anonymous reporting of suspicious activity in the neighborhood. Alok Kumarji is a strict and straightforward person . When an ordinary person from minority community(-friend of Moshu) told about illegal activities in his area and action not taken after complaints, he warned that he will send a team from Bangalore to raid this place !!! Even when a person complained about a stray dog that was killed ( not my neighbour ka Kutta), he listened to him attentively and gave strict instructions to the officer concerned. Congratulations Alok Kumar ji, we want more officers like you.
