Washington, Jun 11 (PTI) Indian-American followers of Baba Ramdev today requested the yoga guru to end his seven day fast and instead conserve his strength and energy to lead this mass movement to its conclusion.
"We beg you to conserve your energy so that you can give us strength and guidance to fight peacefully and protest truthfully for an end to corruption," said a statement issued by Indian-Americans from 15 cities in the US.
The communique was faxed to Ramdev's office in India, said Vijay Pallod, overseas media co-coordinator of Bharat Swabhiman.
Noting that Ramdev has inspired millions of children, men, women, the communique said they will need to be called again ? in even greater numbers, till they have a final victory in banishing corruption from public life.
"Swami Ji, please accept the advice of your followers and doctors and end your fast.
