Kochi, Jun 12 (DC): The latest concern of cops and worried parents is 3D porn that has become a rage among the youth of the Kochi, Kerala.
The porn CDs and DVDs come complete with funky, funny-coloured paper sunglasses that ensure that the kinky thrills have ‘triple’ the x-effect.
As everyone knows, the effect of 3D movies is such that the spectator feels he is part of the movie, and not just a witness. Psychologists and cops are worried about the effect of 3D porn on the minds of impressionable youngsters.
“We don’t need to purchase any extra equipment to watch it other than the eyeglasses,” said a youngster. “To make things better, many youth magazines are now giving away 3D spectacles for free.”
Sellers of 3D porn are also luring the youth by pointing out that they work equally well even in a computer and a normal DVD player.
As such, there is increasing demand for 3D eyeglasses from online shopping websites like eBay.
While a single piece is sold for Rs 150, buying a pack of six will bring down the per piece cost to Rs 40.
Luckily, city shops that used to sell 3D eyeglasses when a 3D serial was being telecast by a regional channel have not replenished their stocks.
