Public have said that they will not carry out the final rites of both deceased if the minister and deputy commissioner does not come to the spot. People of the area are saying that the forest department is negligent about the continuous attack of elephants in residential areas of Renjilady.

Kadaba police had deleted the video based on the complaint filed by Aithoor PDO. The public is enraged on this matter also. All at the spot of the incident expressed anger against the forest department officials and took them to task.

The DFO later visited spot. He assured that they will trap the elephants by evening by bringing trained elephants from Nagarahole and Dubare camps. But the locals urged not to give any verbal assurances but in writing. The DFO assured that he will stay back and get the operation done.

Wild animals are straying into cities and villages as they are not getting enough food. Hence arrangements must be made by forest officers to provide good food for animals. So that they will not starry to human inhabited areas. Some countries in Africa people go into forest and feed these animals so that they don't stray into villages. It must be done here also. Hope the officers are listening

I don't think elephants are so cruel like cheetah or lion to kill man.Find out the cause is better. There is ample time to escape or run away when the elephant attacks you.

Lone wild elephants keep hiding near bush and suddenly attacks anyone going close. No time to escape. Moreover elephant can run faster than humans. Actually they are capable to chase and kill.
