Mangaluru: Police commissioner Kuldeep Kumar Jain takes charge

Mangaluru, Feb 24: Kuldeep Kumar Jain took over as the new city police commissioner on Friday February 24.

N Shashi Kumar who was the city police commissioner was deputed as railway DIG on Thursday. Kuldeep Jain, who was discharging duties as Bengaluru west traffic DCP was transferred to Mangaluru.

Speaking to reporters after taking charge, Kuldeep Jain said, “I will not tolerate corruption. Officials should not give any opportunity for corruption. Suitable action will be taken to prevent all kinds of illegal activities. We will work for the convenience of public with everyone’s cooperation.”

Kuldeep Kumar Jain is a 2011 batch IPS officer.
