Mangaluru: Manasa Water Park celebrates first anniversary after new management takeover

Mangaluru, Feb 25: The first anniversary celebration of Manasa Amusement and Water Park after the new management took over was held at the park premises at Pilikula on Saturday February 25.

Chairman of Manasa Park Wilfred Pinto said, “Manasa Amusement and Water Park was closed for two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The park was handed over to a new management on February 2, 2022 and in the next 22 days we worked out and resumed the park operations and threw it open to the public. We have successfully completed a year and we have managed to reach a good position. Meanwhile, there is a need for further development of the Manasa Amusement and Water Park.”

Managing director Jayesh Sebestian announced a few projects for the development of the park.

He said, “We have signed an agreement for a marine world project worth Rs 100 crore which will be completed within a year. A wave pool worth Rs 1 crore, a toddler pool besides an amphitheatre and a destination wedding area too will be built at the Manasa Amusement and Water Park. Adventure sports such as sky cycling and zip lines will also be built as part of the expansion plans.”

On the eve of the first anniversary celebration, dance, singing and games activities were conducted.

Chief guests were Joy Varghese, Siju, Jayaram, Santhan D Silva, marketing head of Daijiworld Media Network Private Limited Praveen Tauro and others were present.

General manager of Manasa Park James welcomed the gathering and Reena compered the event.
