Mangaluru: CEIR portal implementation - 110 lost mobile phones blocked, 15 found in 10 days

Mangaluru, Mar 2: Dakshina Kannada district police, in the last 10 days, have blocked 110 mobile phones that were lost and found 15 mobiles according to the information that is registered on the CEIR portal which was started by the state police department for immediate blocking and tracing of lost mobile phones.

If anyone loses mobile, complaint should be registered through E-LOST or in nearby police station immediately, get the receipt and then upload the information on CEIR portal.

This enables to block and trace lost mobile phones. SP Dr Vikram Amate said that this technology is implemented effectively in the district.
