Mangaluru: Five accused found guilty in Palliabba murder case

Mangaluru, Mar 2: Accusation of five people is proved in the court in the case in which a man was murdered and buried at Malar Arasthana of Pavoor village. Third additional district and sessions court found the five accused guilty. The quantum of punishment will be pronounced by justice B B Jakati on March 3.

Hamza (44), Azharuddin (27), residents of Malar Aksharanagara, Ameer Sheikh alias Ammi (26), Afraz Abdul Razak (20) and Athaullah alias Altaf, residents of Sajipanadu Kanchinadkapadavu are the accused who were found guilty by the court.


Palliabba

A missing case was filed in Konaje police station about Palliabba alias Palliaka (75), a resident of Malar of Pavoor village on October 29, 2020. Later his mortal remains were found buried at Padavu in Ira village. During investigation it came to light that Palliabba was killed over financial matter. Konaje police had then arrested the accused.
