Mumbai, Jun 16 (PTI) Actress Minissha Lamba, who is excited about her upcoming film 'Bheja Fry 2', feels male artists have an upper hand when it comes to comedy and not not many roles in this genre are written for women.
"I think comedy comes easy for women because right now there are not many roles written for women.. they are mainly men-oriented. It is rightfully so as men can perform variety of jokes that don't look nice on women," Minissha told PTI.
"Like obvious sexual nature or double meaning jokes, it does not look nice when women are cracking it. It works better when a male artist does it," she said.
After attempting romantic drama 'Bachna Aye Haseeno', thriller - 'Kidnap', 'Well Done Abba', a political satire Minissha is trying her hands on comedy with 'Bheja Fry 2' and 'Hum Tum Aur Shabana'.
