Bengaluru, Mar 8: The 14th edition of the Aero India 2023 was conducted by the Indian Department of Defence Production from February 13–17 at the Yelahanka Air Force station in Bengaluru.
The theme of Aero India 2023 was 'The Runway to a Billion Opportunities' and witness participation by more than 80 countries along with 800 defence companies including around 100 foreign and 700 Indian companies. Aero India 2023 was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 13 in Bengaluru. The five-day event focused on displaying indigenous equipment/technologies and forging partnerships with foreign companies.
As part of this event, HAL in collaboration with BEL had taken responsibility of managing the entire logistics. Travels World, one of the largest Transport Management Companies in Bengaluru was awarded contract to manage the entire ‘Aero India 2023’ as solo vendor to manage their transport requirement for 'Aero India 2023'.
Founder & managing director of Travels World, Sharaschandra Sanil helmed by his team took this heavy weight responsibility on his shoulder and managed providing hundreds of vehicles daily to ferry defence personnel, foreign nations and other high-profile delegates and its officers for few days pre and post event. In recognition of outstanding performance, commitment and dedicated service rendered by Travels World, they were awarded the 'excellent service' certificate.
