Singapore, Jun 18: After satisfactorily recovering from  his illness, Tamil superstar Rajinikanth has written to his fans worldwide, thankng them for their support through prayers for his good health during times of difficulty.

He wrote "Your love helped me to recover fully, I will never forget you all in my life and will keep entertaining you throughout my life.."

Superstar is still in Singapore, after discharging from hospital earlier this week.
 
He is expected to be in Singapore for at least another 45 days. Reportedly doctors have advised him to take rest and stay away from shooting schedules for the next next few weeks.

It can be recalled here that soon after he was discharged from the hospital he invited controversy calling on Jayalaitha and congratulating her for her victory. He had said in a telephonic conversation to Jaya, "You saved Tamil Nadu from DMK hands"

However, he was quick enough to go into damage control mode, soon after calling DMK chief Karunanidhi and conveying his well-being .
