Malappuram (Ker), Jun 18 (PTI) Popular Malayalam actress Swetha Menon today got married at a temple in Valancherry in the district.
The bridegroom Sreevalsan Menon, a native of Thrissur and working in Mumbai, tied the nuptial knot at the Neythalappurath Sastha Ayappa temple in the presence of relatives and friends.
Swetha, whose first film was 'Anaswaram' with mega star Mammotty, has acted in over 25 Malayalam films.
Her 'Rathi Nirvedham', a remake of a Malayalam movie in the 1970s, was released in Kerala a couple of days ago.
Swetha, a model earlier, had bagged the Kerala State Award for best actress for her role in Malayalam superhit film 'Paleri Manickam', directed by Renjith.
Actress Geethu Mohandas was among the few film personalities who attended the wedding.
