London, Jun 22 (PTI) Just days before his second death anniversary the 'King of Pop' Michael Jackson has been crowned the greatest singer of all time.
The 'Thriller' hitmaker who died on 25 June, 2009 because of a cardiac arrest, has been placed on top in the new Nme.com poll by his fans, reported Contactmusic.
British musician Freddie Mercury occupied the second place while 'King of Rock and Roll' Elvis Presley came third.
Also, 'Guns N' Roses' star Axl Rose came in fourth and John Lennon rounded out the top five.
David Bowie, Robert Plant, Paul MCCartney, Stevie Wonder and Aretha Franklin all made to the top 10.
