Kasargod: Student dies, pillion seriously injured in bike-tipper lorry accident

Kasargod, Mar 28: A tragic accident between a bike and a tipper lorry on the national highway near Manjeshwar, Hosangadi, has left one student dead and his pillion seriously injured on Tuesday afternoon.

The deceased has been identified as 18-year-old Mohammed Adil from Kunjathoor. His critically injured companion, Arshad Ali, also 18 years old, has been admitted to a private hospital in Mangaluru.

Adil, a student of Kumble Mahatma Gandhi college, was returning home with Ali after an exam when the accident occurred.

The Manjeshwar station police have registered a case.
