Bantwal, Mar 28: Thieves broke into the home of Veerakambha Bonyakukku Janata Colony resident Mohammed Musliar in Bantwal and stole cash and valuables while he was at the airport seeing off his daughter who was travelling abroad on Monday, March 27.

Upon returning home that night, Musliar and his family members found their house door opened.

The thieves had used a ladder to enter the loft, broken into a cupboard, and stolen gold jewellery worth several lacs of rupees.

The Vittal station police arrived at the scene and collected details.

    This must be some known family member or the closest neighbour job. They knew this guy and his family was going to airport and it might take 3-4 hours to return back. Hope culprits will be caught soon by our so called smart police Dept.
