Physical Trainer Alleges Rape, Fired by Firm

New Delhi, Jun 29: A physical trainer working in a gym at the DDA sports complex, Dwarka alleged that she was raped twice by two other employees. The victim has been sacked by the company along with the accused.

The 24-year-old victim was raped first by the manager and then by another trainer, it is alleged. Both have been remanded to 14 day judicial custody.

The woman had filed for divorce and was living in Mangolpuri. She got the job through a friend of Ajay, one of the accused.

According to the complaint filed by the woman she was given some white powder when she complained of a headache. Feeling dizzy, she went to the changing room to sit down. Ajay followed her there and raped her on June 19.

The complaint also says that the victim's mother was intimidated by the accused and her boyfriend was assaulted. He was taken to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital for treatment following which an FIR was registered.

The duo has been arrested and police filed an FIR of rape against them, after medical examination of the victim.
