Kasargod: 32-yr-old man suspected of falling to death from moving train

Kasargod, April 24: A young man met his death after falling off from a train at Uppala Peringadi here on Monday, April 24, in the morning.

The deceased is identified as Sabir (32), who was a resident of Palakkad. This incident happened when he was travelling to Goa in the company of his friend.

As Sabir was found missing when the train reached Goa, his friend filed a complaint with the Goa police. The Goa police in turn alerted both the Kerala and the Karnataka police.

The mortal remains of Sabir were found near Peringadi railway tracks in Kumble police station limits. The dead body has been kept at Kasaragod general hospital morgue and will be handed over to his relatives upon their arrival.

Police have suspected that Sabir might have got thrown off from the running train and died.

    Never travel by staying near the door of train. It's dangerous I have seen many youngsters travelling like this. Long back I lost one of my friend like this

    Sitting or standing near to the door of moving train is always dangerous, specially with mobile in hand makes it more deadly! Some silly action by an individual, turn the whole family into sadness! RIP
