Mumbai, Jul 8: Mumbai police on Friday July 8 arrested a sharpshooter and his associate in connection with the killing of Iqbal Kaskar's driver on May 17. Both are said to be members of Chhota Rajan gang.
Iqbal Kaskar is the brother of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim.
On May 17, in a shootout outside Kaskar's residence, two gunmen had killed Kaskar's driver Arif Syed Abu Bukha.
The arrested are Umed Ul Rehman (27) and his aide Aasid Jaan Mohammed Shaikh (41) who were rounded up from Arambol beach area in Goa, where they are said to have taken refuge, on Thursday July 7.
On Friday, police brought the two to Mumbai and took them in custody. Police have already arrested four others in connection with the case.
Police also confiscated eleven cell phones from the duo.
