Kundapur: Private-KSRTC buses collide; three passengers injured

Kundapur, May 3: Three passengers of a private bus were injured when the vehicle rammed into a KSRTC bus from behind in Kundapur on Wednesday, May 3.

The KSRTC bus was taking a U-turn on NH66 near the tourist petrol pump in Tallur when the incident occurred.

The private bus, carrying passengers from Kundapur to Gangolli, collided with the KSRTC bus due to the negligence of its driver, Manohar.

Three passengers, including a child, were thrown to the road and sustained minor injuries.

KSRTC driver Ashoka had taken the bus to Ashok Leyland showroom and was returning to Kumta after servicing it when the accident took place.

A case has been registered at the Kundapur traffic police station.
