Udupi, May 4: Prasadraj Kanchan, Congress candidate of the constituency sought vote from employees of Udupi LIC, various banks and auto rickshaw drivers. Veerappa Moily, former CM of Karnataka, accompanied him.
After speaking to auto rickshaw drivers at Manipal, Kanchan said, “It is very difficult for auto rickshaw drivers to have even one meal a day. The price of petrol, diesel, auto rickshaw, insurance and taxes have increased by five times during the rule of the BJP. Congress is the only party that is with the poor people.”
