Puttur/Bantwal/Karkala, May 6: Uttar Pradesh (UP) chief minister (CM) Yogi Adityanath campaigned for BJP candidates in Puttur, Bantwal and Karkala on Saturday, May 6.

He campaigned for Asha Thimmappa Gowda in Puttur. A massive road show started from Shri Mahalingeshwara Temple.

Addressing the gathering, Yogi said, "I have come from the birth land of Lord Rama to the birth land of Hanuman. He was with Lord Rama. The construction of Lord Rama's temple is in progress in Uttar Pradesh. The Karnataka government is also constructing Lord Hanuman's temple."

“The Congress is attacking the faith of the people. The party is planning to ban Bajrang Dal in Karnataka. The Congress is talking in favour of the PFI. The Bajrang Dal is an organisation that is in favour of the nation. Our country is powerful under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The BJP government is on a development mission in the state. But the Congress and JD(S) are preventing it.

"People should bring the BJP to power in the state and elect Asha Thimmappa Gowda,” he appealed to the voters.

Later, Yogi Adityanath, held a massive road show at Karkala and campaigned for BJP candidate V Sunil Kumar.

Addressing the party activists, he said that he has come to the land of Parashurama. “I have come from the land of Ayodhya Rama to the land of Parashurama. Lord Rama had received the company of Hanuman at the time of his forest stay. Hanuman had helped to destroy the Lanka of Ravana. Similarly, you the patriotic people should do away with the iniquity of the Congress and JD(S). You should defeat those who supported the PFI. Bring the double engine government to power again. India has emerged as a huge global power. Karnataka has contributed as the IT hub of the country. Karnataka has hugely contributed to the development of India.”

“Modi has become the captain for team India. There should always be Karnataka in the Modi team. The spark of nationalism should reach every house. You should make Sunil Kumar your candidate win. Rama Mandira will be completed at Ayodhya in January. The contribution of the Kar Sevaks from Karnataka is immense in its construction. I have come to invite you during its construction,” he said.

Thousands of activists took part in the roadshow from Karkala Ananthashayana circle till Gandhi Maidan.

State BJP president Nalin Kumar Kateel, minister of energy and BJP candidate V Sunil Kumar, activists and leaders were present.

Yogi Adityanath also conducted a road show in favour of BJP candidate Rajesh Naik at B C Road on Saturday evening.

He alighted at the temporary Helipad constructed at Bastipadpu, went by road to Kaikamba Polali Dwara and by open vehicle from there till the bus stand in the company of Bantwal BJP candidate Rajesh Naik, BJP state president Nalin Kumar Kateel and BJP district president Sudarshan M.

He began his speech in Kannada and requested to elect the BJP for development and nationalism. He said that Bajrang Dal can never be banned and invited everybody during the inauguration of Sri Rama Mandir at Ayodhya in January, 2024. The national highway looked saffron coloured due to the BJP and saffron coloured flags.

Activists of Sangh Parivar, people and well-wishers stood on both sides of the road to see Yogi. He was to reach at 4 pm but reached at 6 pm.

There were platoons of para military forces from Uttar Pradesh providing security to Yogi Adityanath. Several BJP leaders were present.

As it became dark, he went back from B C road at about 7 pm towards the airport by road instead of the helicopter. It is said that he proceeded to Lucknow by flight later.

Bantwal candidate Rajesh Naik gifted him a bronze idol of Lord Hanuman for having arrived and participated in the road show. Puttur BJP gifted him a silver picture of Mahalingeshwara deity.

Other vehicles were banned on the road till he returned. Alternative arrangements were made for their movement.

see the irony here.. BJP destroyed Hanuman temple which i guess was more than 300 years old. At that time no Bajranga Dala Nor RSS nor Yogi came for support. It was local who were protesting against The gov. And some news channel covered it n 1 or 2 debate then over. Now they woke up from deep sleep when they heard of BAN and yogi is saying they will build a temple for Hanuman. Is it so easy to fool a Kannadiga... Karnataka need to think about it before election. When a city becomes communal free that's the time company starts to invests.. jobs created developments starts... Or else we just need to be the way we are or worst then what we are now. Coz MLA & MP they will increase there BANK BALANCE & Area of there house.. Jai Hind..

I have no plans karnataka to become like UP or Manipur. Not even one word on development. In the pictures i dont see one Indian flag. It is replaced with a illegal brown flag. No wonder why these people use to go to Afghanistan. Bjp is the extended family of Taliban.

Indeed they will win, coz most of them carry gobar and blind bhakti rather than common sense irrespective of being called a 'Buddiwsntara Naadu'... All they care is religious vendetta towards Muslims and Christians, even though they face hardship, business and job loss, no peace, financial difficulties. Hatred of cancer is running in their entire body.. Thanks to Sangh Parivar's preaching.
