Delhi Belly: MP High Court Notice to Aamir, Two Others

Mumbai, Jul 10: The Madhya Pradesh high court in Jabalpur issued notice to Aamir Khan and two others following a petition filed by Dr Ajay Seth asking stay on the screening of Aamir’s film Delhi Belly.

Seth filed a petition alleging that the film contains obscenity and use of abusive language.

The notices have been issued by the division bench of Justices Vimla Jain and K K Lahoti. The Censor Board and the Madhya Pradesh chief secretary have also been issued notice.

In the petition Seth said that youth consider Aamir as the god of acting and as an inspirational film maker. But Delhi Belly has obscene content and abusive language which is against Indian culture. 

The respondents are expecte to reply by July 12.
