Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (MS)

Mangaluru, May 13: A private bus collided with KSRTC bus at Mukka junction in the city as its tyre got punctured on Friday May 12. Around 30 passengers in both buses got injured and were admitted to private hospital. It is learnt that many left after getting first aid.

The private bus was arriving from Udupi to Mangaluru and the KSRTC bus was going to Kushtagi from Mangaluru.

A private hospital which is a stone’s throw from Mukka junction did not provide an ambulance to shift the injured passengers.

The public who urged the hospital to provide ambulance service said, “We appealed to the hospital authorities to provide an ambulance as it was within a stone’s throw from the site of the accident. At first, the hospital authorities said that the driver of the ambulance has gone out. Then we said that we can drive the ambulance ourselves but hospital authorities did not cooperate. After half an hour, an ambulance that arrived from somewhere else carried the injured to the hospital.”

It is certainly inhuman on the part of the hospital not to provide the ambulance. It defies humanity. This hospital enjoys the patronage of the politicians due to which it behaves in this manner.

Even in Mangalore many Hospitals don't send their ambulances in case of emergencies. The ambulance service is outsourced to private parties .

Hospitals mostly opened in the intension of money making squeezing not for Charity or Humanity , once admitted they will conduct multiple test and diagnosis method and finally end up with just giving paracetamol or some other painkiller.

Oh Saru sir, you dont worry. If you get sick, let me know the symptoms of your sickness, if necessary i will prescribe some home remedies. Dont spend money on unnecessary tests or you can come by your helicopter to dkatte for consultation....kallemu ? Using our own wisdom, we can maintain our health and decide what food is agreeing to you. Best thing is avoid left overs curries/rice and items prepared out of meat...it proves very poisonous for the next day. Even afternoon food should not be consumed at night. God bless

There's no harm in eating leftover curries cooked in earthen vessels (kundlea chi kadi). It's more delicious than freshly cooked.
